"A stronger wild salmon"

The main goal of the National Wild Salmon Center is a stronger wild salmon. The main target group is children and young people. That's why we've created several tasks and activities that schools can use alone or in collaboration with us.

Overall part of the curriculum

Schools are constantly evolving. The overall part of the curriculum describes the values and principles of education. It is important and should permeate all teaching in school. All assignments and activities we create are in line with the overall part of the curriculum. We want to encourage life skills, critical thinking, reflection and respect for nature, among other things. In addition, sustainable development and the use of traditional knowledge are central.

Meet competence goals

All of our tasks and activities are designed to achieve specific learning objectives. It is clear which learning objectives the different tasks are based on.

Safe tasks and a resource for the school

As a teacher, you need to be sure that it is safe to use our assignments in your teaching. The learning materials you will find on this page are of high quality. It is based on the overall part of the curriculum and on specific learning objectives. The team that has developed the material consists of both educators and scientists.
