Official opening and seminar in Lærdal

We have finished the exhibitions in Lærdal and invite you to the official opening, combined with a professional seminar with several exciting presentations about wild salmon. The event is open to all.

The day will be divided into two parts:

  • First, we have a program with cultural events and an official opening ceremony - this part of the day is open to everyone.

  • Then there will be a seminar in the culture hall - if you want to participate, you must sign up by clicking on "Sign up for seminar", at the bottom of this page.

  • We have capacity for up to 150 participants. The session is free of charge.

  • At the seminar, we want to highlight the status of wild salmon in Norway, the status and challenges specific to Western Norway, the status of the national salmon rivers and fjords, the work of the National Wild Salmon Center so far and future plans.
