Namsos

We offer nature guides based on the life, habitat and threats of wild salmon. We also collaborate with the Namdal Museum on wild salmon education, and this summer you can visit our wild salmon exhibition there.

During the high season (spring and fall), we meet school classes at the river or stream where we catch and study live fish and benthic animals. Through activities, conversations and reflection, the pupils learn about connections in nature, how we affect nature and what nature means to us.

In the summer, you can visit our outdoor exhibition on wild salmon both at Namsos Camping and at the Namdal Museum. Information about Namsblank and the life cycle of the wild salmon can also be found at the Grong village museum at Bergsmo and in the nature trail in the center of Grong.

Every year we participate with 10 poles in the pole hunt. If you visit our 10 poles along the "bridge round" in Namsos , you will get exciting information about wild salmon. We have also placed geocaches along Namsen with exciting information about wild salmon. The trail is called "Salmon stories along Namsen".

We have offices at Nord University. We have meeting rooms and auditoriums at our disposal and are often the organizer of meetings and conferences. Our office hours are generally from 08.00-15.30.
